Working in a high risk industry requires a robust health & safety management system. Our highest priority is that our employees and scaffold users go home safe every day.
iScaff has continuously met the health & safety requirements of the following organisations:
All new employees and temporary workers are inducted to their work and to any significant hazards they might encounter while doing their work. They complete and sign the ‘Workplace and H&S Induction Form’, to ensure they understand their workplace procedures and responsibilities. New staff will receive complete PPE and all of iScaff’s health & safety documents.
We highly value continuous training of our employees implemented through individual training plans, regular assessments and one-on-one feedback meetings. iScaff offers scaffolding apprenticeships in collaboration with Skills and through the government’s Gateway model iScaff supports school students’ transition into the workforce.
iScaff is committed to create and maintain a drug and alcohol-free working environment. We do pre-employment and regular random drug and alcohol testing conducted by an independent nationally accredited provider.
Our job includes performing daily higher-risk activities as such we have a comprehensive yet easy to use and effective risk management system in place. iScaff’s crews complete each day a ‘Safe Work and Rescue Plan’ and a ‘Site Hazard and Risk Register’. This is supported by regular site and crew audits by the iScaff management.
To ensure all authorized scaffolding users are operating in a safe and compliant manner, we distribute our ‘Scaffolding User Instructions’ to each client upon completion of their scaffolding.
